Information Centre
The Information Centre is located within the MFRD library.
Mission - The Information Centre is to support research by sourcing, acquiring and making available up-to-date bibliographic information to staff, researchers and the public.
Collections – The information center has in stock books, periodicals and CD-ROMS in the following disciplines:
The center has more than 700 volumes and receives over 10 current periodicals in Journals by subscriptions, exchange and gifts.
The information center also has in stock special collections on Reports from other center around the world, Theses/ dissertations on all the disciplines. Special reports on oceanography expeditions are also available for reference. CD-ROMS on fish and fisheries database are also accessible at the center.
Services – at the center includes Reference, Interlibrary Loan, E-mail, Internet and Electronic Transmission of Documents. Just e-mail your request to the Information Manager and the center’s competent manager would honor your request.
